Stone Towers

Stone towers, derived from Indian stupas, are a purely decorative
element in the garden today, but in earlier times were used to
add a spiritual atmosphere. There is always an odd number of stories,
and the plates are most often square, though hexagonal, octagonal,
and round ones are also seen. For a small garden,
a five-story tower should be quite sufficient.
